Meet Our Doctors

Dr Kim Grymaloski

In June 1993, Dr Kim Grymaloski received his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan; in December 1998, completed his Family Medicine residency in Regina, Saskatchewan. He worked remotely in northern Saskatchewan and spent seven years in rural Minnesota before relocating to Vancouver Island in 2007. Dr “Kim” enjoys staying fit via mountain biking and hiking up the local mountains.

Dr William Reynolds

Dr Reynolds has been a family physician as part of the Family Doctors group at the Mill Bay Medical Centre since May 2003. He has active hospital privileges at the Cowichan District Hospital in Duncan. He has a special interest in geriatric medicine and has active privileges at all long-term care facilities in the Cowichan Valley. As well, he has a special interest in sports medicine and offers in-office consultations and team physician services for Rugby Canada and the Cowichan Valley Capitals (BCHL Junior Hockey). Dr Reynolds is also a medical examiner for the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM). He earned his B.Sc from the University of Calgary in 1984 and graduated from medical school at the University College Cork, Ireland in 1989; he completed his postgraduate training in Rural Family Medicine in Brisbane, Australia in 1992. From 1992-1996, Dr Reynolds worked as a family practitioner in Spirit River, an isolated rural northern community in Alberta. From 1996 until 2003, he was a family practitioner in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where he was also Chief of Family Practice and Emergency Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital.

Dr Lisa Wilson and Dr J-M Wilson

The Wilsons share a practice and have been working at Mill Bay Medical Centre since 1998. Dr Lisa Wilson works in general practice, concentrating particularly on growth and development and women's medical issues. She also enjoys helping people with personal and family-related challenges.

Having trained as a kinesiologist prior to his medical career, Dr J-M Wilson has a wealth of experience in assessing physical and sport injuries. He brings additional skill as an emergency room physician; this allows him to address complex and acute medical problems.
